We have been manufacturing lifebuoys for Trygg-Hansa since 1976. After many years of experience as a dealer, we took the step to launch our own brand, Rescue Life 247, in the fall of 2012. Since then, we have continued to develop and deliver innovative and reliable solutions in water safety. Our products are used by municipalities, commercial ports, marinas, yacht clubs, construction companies and contractors. With the lifebuoy as the foundation, water rescue has always been and remains at the heart of our business. We work closely with our suppliers and customers to ensure that each product meets the highest standards and helps save lives in critical situations.

A FAMILY BUSINESS TO RELY ON
The story of Fristad Plast began in 1967, when Leif Forsström founded the company in his garage. It all started with the production of collar stays for shirts, but with passion and innovation, the business grew into a unique industry in injection molding of plastic parts – with several strong brands under the same roof.
With us, ideas have always been given room to grow. For three generations, we’ve never been satisfied with just being good – we always strive to be a little better, bit by bit. In 1976, we began our partnership with Trygg-Hansa and started manufacturing lifebuoys. This was the starting point for our Rescue Life 247 brand, where today we offer a complete range of quality water safety products.
2024 marked a new chapter in our journey. We moved into our newly built, modern premises at Artavägen 4 in Fristad and expanded our space by 4,000 square meters – all to continue our expansion and development.
