AN ACCIDENT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT
Together with the Swedish Lifesaving Society, we produced this movie about what a drowning incident could look like in a marina. The movie shows how the lifeguard post with the lifebuoy, hook and ladder is used in real life.
WATER SAFETY IN FOCUS
Water safety has been our top priority since 1976. That’s when we started making our handmade, high-quality lifebuoys for Trygg-Hansa and others. If you have been to a body of water, there is a high probability that you have seen our lifebuoys at some point or perhaps needed to use them in an emergency. Below we have gathered our range and information that may be useful to know about water safety.
A WATER-SAFE MUNICIPALITY
Water Safe Municipality is an initiative of our partner, the Swedish Lifesaving Society, which aims to increase safety in and around water for both residents and visitors. By educating both adults and children in water knowledge and safety procedures, and by implementing guidelines and safety measures, the project aims to reduce the risk of drowning accidents. By creating a water-safe environment and sharing water safety tips, communities can become safer places for all those who spend time around lakes, seas and rivers. For more information, visit:

SAVING LIVES BY WATER
Here is a short guide to saving lives by water, based on information from the Swedish Lifesaving Society:
1. Stay calm and assess the situation.
2. call 112 to get help quickly.
3. use a lifebuoy or throw something floating to the person in the water.
4. Give CPR if the person is unconscious and not breathing.
5. avoid jumping into the water yourself if you are not trained.
SOLAS APPROVED EQUIPMENT
Our lifebuoys live up to very high standards and we also manufacture SOLAS approved lifebuoys and throwing lines. Our SOLAS approved lifebuoy is certified according to SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) and meets all the requirements of Chapter III, point 4.1 for flotation devices. It has undergone extensive testing to ensure reliability in extreme conditions at sea and is approved by DNV Sweden. The certification ensures that the lifebuoy is suitable for use on board ships, oil platforms and other environments where the highest safety standards are an absolute requirement.
