During the summer, the City of Borås was certified as a Water Safe Municipality by the Swedish Lifesaving Society. This is a result of a collaborative effort between the municipality’s various departments to work together to prevent and reduce the risk of accidents at the municipality’s various lakes and waterways. As part of this work, on Wednesday we installed new hook posts and lifeguard posts at most of the municipality’s bathing areas.
