On Saturday, August 21, we participated in Water Day in Borås. The Water Day is a family event with the purpose of showing that Viskan and the surrounding area can be a place for play, recreation, exercise, health and competition.
Together with the Swedish Lifesaving Society, we offered the public to throw lifebuoys and try CPR. There was a great turnout at our outdoor stand and many, both adults and children, threw lifebuoys for the first time. We also demonstrated the use of other life-saving equipment, such as a life ladder and a life hook. Important and useful information and hopefully we trained many new lifeguards this day
In connection with the competitions held during the day, we monitored the participants from our lifeboat, all to maintain the highest level of safety during the event!
Are you planning a similar theme day in your area? Contact us and we’ll be happy to look at a program of life-saving activities for your visitors.
