This week we were invited as a supplier partner to participate in the RGS (Riksföreningen Gästhamnar Sverige) annual meeting, this year located in wonderful Västervik. The day offered a fantastic spring weather and this archipelago pearl showed itself from its right side. The theme for today’s RGS 60 minutes was “Safe Harbor”. We participated together with Mikael Olausson, safety manager at the Swedish Lifesaving Society and Lars-Göran Nyström from the Swedish Transport Agency. They both participated digitally.
The program began with Björn Ulvaeus telling us a little about the construction of Slottsholmen on water, the floating hotel we were at. Andreas Nilsson, who runs the guest harbor Slottsholmen Marina, then told us about the major investment made in the harbor for the season and showed us around the facility.
